Philglas & Swiggot Wine Merchants Have Closed

It is with heavy hearts that we share the difficult news that our Marylebone and Battersea stores will be closing for the final time on 16th March 2025.

Since first opening our doors on Northcote Road in Battersea in 1991, and later in Marylebone, Philglas & Swiggot has been more than just a wine shop; it has been a place of shared discoveries, lively conversations, and friendships built over great bottles. Serving you, our wonderful customers, has been an absolute joy, and we are deeply grateful for the trust and support you have given us over the years.

Sadly, a combination of increasingly challenging trading conditions and the added complexities of Brexit have made it impossible for us to continue. While this chapter is coming to an end, we will always cherish the memories made, the wines shared, and the relationships built.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your loyalty, enthusiasm, and for being part of the Philglas & Swiggot family. We sincerely hope our paths will cross again in the future.
